The new Pure Strike 18x20 is aimed at advanced attackers who speed up the game and need responsiveness to increase their accuracy. An optimized string pattern with larger cross spacing provides more power, while hybrid frame technology gives you the unique combination of power and control.
Wider beam sections in the throat and at 3/9/12 o'clock improve accuracy and increase stability during bullet impact. The 18/20 chain pattern will increase control.
More powerful than the previous Pure Strike (2014), this racquet has a rather stiff frame that won't move much on impact. This will give very sharp but controlled hits. The screen size of 98 cm² adds precision and maneuverability, especially to the network and the service line. The well-balanced 305g allows the player to feel real stability when hitting the ball, which will promote control without compromising on the power and speed of the ball. Finally, the 18 x 20 string pattern adds a layer of precision and control. This racket is compatible with the Sony Smart tennis sensor and is used in professional tours by Dominic Thiem (Austria), Samantha Stosur (Australia).
