With the Phantom 100G, Prince adds some more control and feel to their most traditional racket line. Players who liked the Prince Classic Graphite 100 launched in 2014 will appreciate the obvious similarities in specs and playability. This racket's most prominent feature is Prince's signature cross bar, which gives it extra torsional stability. It also features a lively and spin-friendly 16x18 string pattern along with the kind of all-court mobility that makes it easy to charge the net. Other features include a buttery thin CTS beam (20.5-18.5-16.5) and a very arm-friendly 59RA, resulting in the kind of arm-friendly feel that is becoming increasingly rare amongst today's ever stiffer rackets. The signature technology is an Anti-Torque System (ATS) which combines Textreme and Twaron in both the shaft and at 10 and 2 o'clock in the hoop. The result is less racket torque at impact, resulting in a more stable and powerful hitting experience. On groundstrokes the Phantom 100G delivers seductive ball feedback at impact, with mindless targeting on full swings, aided in no small part by the high spin potential. It's also very fast thanks to its sub-320 swingweight, making it great for scrambling on defense, hitting shots on the run or whipping up spin.  At net the 100G comes around very fast to deliver outstanding touch. In addition to its impressive speed on reaction volleys, the 100G does a great job redirecting higher levels of pace. It will also give you the needed control to swing for power on serves, with enough spin-potential to paint the corners of the box or lay down some robust kickers. Ultimately, with this racket, Prince has added another instant classic to the Phantom series. Intermediate and advanced players looking for a speedy player's racket with outstanding control should add this to their demo list. If you appreciate the silky feel of flexible, thin beamed rackets, you won't need much convincing.
